Who is therapy for?
I offer professional support for psychological stress, personal crises, and phases of reorientation. I work with privately insured patients (private Krankenkasse, Beihilfe) as well as self-paying clients. In addition, I provide couples therapy for self-paying clients (couples therapy is currently not covered by health insurance).
Billing is carried out in accordance with the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).
In addition, I offer PsyRena groups as part of aftercare following psychosomatic rehabilitation.
Group sessions: Wednesdays, 16:00–17:30.
A new group is expected to start in February 2026.

Course of Therapy
To begin, we will generally hold three initial consultations of 50 minutes each. These sessions help us get to know each other, understand your current situation, and establish tentative diagnoses. We will discuss your concerns, clarify therapeutic goals, and decide together what further treatment may look like.
After that, four trial sessions ("Probatorik") usually follow. In these sessions, we deepen the therapeutic work and determine whether a short-term or long-term therapy is appropriate. Together, we then submit the corresponding application to your health insurance provider.
The subsequent therapy includes — depending on your needs — short-term or long-term treatment with a total of 12 to 24 sessions.
During this time we typically meet in my practice room once a week for 50 minutes.
